Peyton

Peyton earned his Table Tennis, Computer, Communication, Recycling, Bowling and Roller Skating belt loops for Cub Scouts on Monday night. He worked very hard to earn these. To earn his Communication Award he had to stand in front of the entire pack and talk about the cucumber plant that he planted all by himself. He was nervous but practiced very hard. We are very proud of him.

Austin

Austin was watching ESPN last week and complained that he couldnt see the score of the basketball game at the bottom of the tv. We all know how Austin is- Nothing can keep him from his ESPN Basketball Games-

I made an appointment and took him to the eye doctor this past Saturday. The doctor found that he is near sighted. He went from 20/20 to 20/40 in less than 8 months from his last appointment. The doctor said he needs to wear the glasses when he is watching TV, reading for long periods of time, going to the movies, or extensive time on the computer.

He spent a long time looking for the perfect pair of glasses. Would you believe he picked out a NIKE pair. What a SHOCKER- right? :}

He went to school on Tuesday and the girls complimented him on the glasses and now he wants to wear them all of the time. KIDS got to love them!
